Foundation – Art in House Gallery
In June 2016 Valerie exhibited a body of work that was influenced by her own foundation in the art of stained glass.
Artist Statement – Artist Valerie Marchand has always been a collector of things. Curiosities of nature, animal figures and anything that peaks her interest as an artist. Foundation brings together Valerie’s work in stained glass with her sculptural assemblage. Using her collectors sensibilities, Valerie has combined stained glass elements with pieces from her own collection to create the work in Foundation.
